Installation – Plant Build

Projects vary significantly; each requiring unique and defined resources of plant and people. One project may start out in a muddy patch of dirt on a construction site, another inside a hygienically clean food environment, one a new build, another a modification to an existing plant. Budgets and time frames vary between projects and people need to be matched to the skill and the work environment of each diverse project

Industrial Plant Management use the model of creating a short life business unit, made up of resources required for each unique project. The approach is to design and create a production manufacturing or servicing unit that will from day one be scalable-up as the project gets underway, transportable to other sites if more than one project, nationally or overseas if required; and down-sizable when the job is complete and only maintenance repairs and up-grading services are required for the on-going smooth running of the new plant.

This process may start with one Project Engineer, adding supporting infrastructure and trades people as the project gets underway, and decreasing the number of people as the project nears its end. The model is economical and flexible in it’s short term life of the project build and with the availability of knowledgeable people continuing with on-going maintenance of the plant and where convenient to the customer, the supply of operational crew to man the production machinery to produce the plants product at a fixed cost.

The combined knowledge of accessing resources of materials, skilled people, contracting firms and supply services, along with organizational, planning, budgeting and the understanding of assembling a tailored engineering business unit to build your plant and following with after-build services, is a unique set of skills the people around Industrial Plant Management have assembled over the years through learning from practical application.
